About Dow Images:
Dow Images is the creation of husband-wife team Chris and Kim Dow. Our mission with Dow Images is to deliver both portrait photography and art photography prints at reasonable prices. All of the photos you will find on Dow Images are the work of Kimberly Dow, a professional photographer who has been photographing her subjects for over a decade. Her skilled eye is demonstrated by the wonderful prints that are available on the Dow Images Online Store.
About Kim:
Kim first became interested in photography as a hobby in grade school, and continued to develop her skill into adulthood. She took photography classes in college and worked for a professional photographer where she learned about running a photography studio. She studied child development and education at CSU Stanislaus where she earned her bachelors and Elementary Teaching Credential. After the prompting of friends and family, she became serious about her photography and together with her husband started Dow Images.
Kim has always enjoyed visual creative arts and has a natural talent for capturing a variety of subjects. People are her favorite subject, and she especially enjoys photographing babies and children. Her calm and patient demeanor sets little ones at ease, resulting in images that capture their natural spirit. But regardless of the age of the subject, Kim is sure to create beautiful images that will last a lifetime.
